Isabel´s House is located in the small, safe, traditional Costa Rican mountain village of Atenas. This small town is known throughout the country as “El Mejor Clima del Mundo”…which translates to “The best climate in the world.” And I have yet to meet anyone (Tico or foreigner) who disagrees!

Atenas has a great central location- it is only 20 minutes west of the International Airport Juan Santa Maria and 25 minutes from San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. And thanks to the new toll road, Atenas is only about an hour from several beautiful Pacific coast beaches such as Jacó, Esterillos, Punta Leona and Caldera, among others. In addition, we are close to both the Poas and Irazu Volcanos.
